These terms cover the NexDial app and dashboard, supplied by Black Swan Business Setup Services. Using the software means accepting them.
What NexDial does
NexDial is a phone dialer for Android that becomes the device's default phone app. It identifies callers from your organisation's Zoho CRM and records each call against the matching record, together with any note the user writes.
A web dashboard reads that activity back and reports on it.
What you need
- A Zoho CRM account with administrator access, to authorise the connection
- Android 8 or newer. iPhone is not supported and cannot be — Apple does not permit third-party apps to act as the phone dialer
- Each user must set the app as their default phone app and allow it to run in the background
Your responsibilities
Tell your staff. NexDial records who was called, for how long, and what was noted. Employees should know this before it is installed on their phone. In many places that notice is a legal requirement, not a courtesy.
Calling laws are yours to follow. Consent, do-not-call registers, permitted calling hours and cross-border rules all remain your responsibility. NexDial records calls that are made; it does not check whether they were allowed.
Keep your credentials safe. Anyone with your Zoho administrator access can reach your CRM data.
Do not use it for anything unlawful, or to monitor people who have not been told they are being monitored.
What we do not promise
Uninterrupted capture. The app depends on Android permitting it to run. Some manufacturers — particularly Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Realme — restrict background apps aggressively, and calls can be delayed or missed as a result. The dashboard shows when a device has stopped reporting; acting on that is your responsibility.
Zoho's availability. If Zoho is unreachable, calls queue on the device and upload when it returns. Extended outages are outside our control.
Completeness of CRM reporting. Some figures depend on fields your CRM administrator must populate. Where they are missing, the dashboard says so against the affected number rather than presenting an estimate as fact.
Fitness for a particular purpose. The software is supplied as is. It is a record-keeping tool, not a compliance system, and should not be relied on as the sole evidence of what was said on a call — it records that a call happened and what the user chose to note, not the conversation.
Data
Your CRM data stays yours. It lives in your Zoho account, which you control. Black Swan Business Setup Services does not sell it, mine it, or use it for any purpose other than operating the service for you.
Each customer has a separate database, a separate subdomain and separate Zoho credentials. One customer's data is never visible to another.
See the privacy policy for what is handled and where it goes.
Ending the service
You may stop using NexDial at any time. Your CRM data is unaffected — it is in your Zoho account, not ours.
On request we will delete the dashboard database for your deployment. Call records already written to your CRM remain there, since they are yours.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Black Swan Business Setup Services is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or lost opportunity, arising from the use of or inability to use the software.
